Dr Jim Holmes

Senior partner

Dr Holmes joined the practice as a partner following the retirement of Dr Stephenson. He qualified in June 2000 from Southampton University Medical School.

He undertook GP training locally in Gloucester and Cheltenham and is now practice lead for cardiovascular disease and hypertension. He has an interest in musculoskeletal problems and injuries and is currently a medical officer at the Badminton and Gatcombe horse trials. He is married with three young daughters.

Dr Kimberly Hallett

Partner

Dr Hallett graduated from Cambridge University Medical School in 2011. She completed her hospital jobs and GP training scheme in Gloucester, Cheltenham and The Forest of Dean. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice but has completed some additional training in the areas of paediatrics and women’s health. She is also our lead for dementia and learning disabilities. Outside of work she enjoys walking in The Cotswolds with her husband and beagle and is a Brownie leader. She has two children.

GPs

Dr Hannah Deakin

Dr Deakin qualified Birmingham 1997, and joined the Practice in 2012 after a spell working in Antarctica. She has a special interest in contraception and women’s health and is a member of the Gloucester Cave Rescue Group.

Dr Katie Bastow

Qualified Leeds 1995

Dr Bastow started work in General Practice in 2000 has a special interest in women’s and child health and organises our Infant Welfare Clinic. She is married with two children.

Dr Anja Henke

Dr Henke joined the practice in 2010 as a retainer. She qualified in May 2001 in Hanover, Germany. She completed her GP training locally in Cheltenham and Gloucester as well as Sydney, Australia followed by a stint working as a GP in Perth, Australia at a later stage. She enjoys travelling, running, swimming, cycling and above all spending time with her husband, three young children and dog.

Dr Geraint Davies

Dr Davis joined the practice in September 2016. He is married with two young children.
